As you can see from this old brochure, I found a picture of the Gage-Hacker. So, I just had to change her to replicate the original seats.

I’m adding in the mahogany which will have the grout lines. It’s quite challenging to line up the grout lines in the front of the boat versus the back of the boat with the seats in the middle. They all have different contours.

After I get them all mounted, I will plug and sand them down so that they have more of that contour. Then I’ll face off the inside and outside so they have the same exact distance.
It’s a little difficult to do with the seats having different widths from the bottom to the top.

I have no idea how many times I had to get in and out of the boat while putting these on. Anyway, I’m getting there. I can’t wait to see the finished product.
