After getting the top front plugged, I’m moving to the back.

Believe it or not, this takes about six hours. Plugging a boat or boat bar is just slow going.

I have to cut each plug out of scrap wood. I clean the top, fill the counter sunk screw hole with glue and then take a plug and hammer it in…one at a time. Yep, very boring to me.

Between the front and back, I have spent four hours cutting plugs and nine hours putting them in.

I’m ready to start on the sides and the interior and exterior trim boards. Back to cutting plugs.
