This door was off a 1963 Chris Craft Sea Skiff. The boats that I have disassembled are just too far gone to reconstruct and I try to re-purpose as much as I possibly can on other projects.
This is the windshield that was on the boat when I received it. I’m trying to decide if it’s what I want to go back with or not. It was about 6 inches taller and I cut it down to where it makes more sense. It was just overwhelming before.
In the center of the windshield there a flag pole you can picture it with an American flag. I have the option to build one out of wood, but I haven’t decided this yet.
I don’t know…it’s kind of growing on me. I like the looks of it from the side; it has nice angles, I guess. It’s nothing fancy, but this is kind of a fancy boat. So, I’m not sure I will go with this.
