Time for Summer Parties

After light sanding, I have applied the first coat of varnish and it has just soaked in. This boat bar is the back of the boat. I have made this to be used inside or outside.  It’s totally weather resistant, but would be more inside for the winter around the Midwest.

It measures 42 1/2 “ tall, 32” deep and 78 1/2 long.

The frame is made out of treated lumber.

I have left the old water line.

The back end of a boat just has a lot of sex appeal. Just look at it…pretty sweet.

The vintage look is great.  It shows the history of the boat and wood.

Second coat of varnish on and looking great. It’s starting to show its history.

Just look at the top, it’s almost telling you a story.

I just can’t be any happier with how this is turning out.

Here I have added marine plywood to the shelves and applied bilge stain. It’s the same stain I use on the inside hull of the Chris Craft boats I restore.

Last coat of varnish and the trim is all stainless. This just trims them out nicely.

If you look closely, you can see the outline of the Chris Craft logo on the back of the boat.

Yes, it’s ready for cold drinks.

Just add ice. Lol

Empty shelves-ready to be stocked.
