As you can see, I have saved the waterline from the original boat and incorporated it into the bar. Bending planks on the bar is almost just as bad as doing it on the boat…it’s a lot of work.

Since this bar is vintage, I’m not going to grout it and sand it down smooth. I’m painting the grout joints black on the plywood to hide the plywood between planks.

It’s really starting to take shape. Just takes a lot of time and patience.

You can see where I’m strapping boards on to hold the planks in place where I’m trying to bend and line them up. It definitely needs something to force the plank against the plywood.

Made the corner and now going on the back. This is pretty flat, so it’s going super fast and easy. I love it.
