I have enough material to wrap around to the inside to just finish it off. It just makes it look really nice.

It’s time to start cutting plugs and filling all the holes. It takes a lot of time and a lot of patience. The boat usually has 5,000 to 6,000 holes to plug, but this seems like there’s 20,000. LOL.

Two more planks to cut and bend for the front and then she’ll be done. It’s fun keeping the planks even on each side so they match in the middle.

Oh, yes, success looks nice. Ready to plug and sand. This is going to be a vintage style boat bar, so I won’t be grouting the joints or sanding it all the way smooth…just giving it that all weather texture.

I left a bilge pump opening in the side of the boat bar to just give it a little character. I will put a bilge pump outlet there in the end after I finish the boat bar.
