It’s time to clean up the interior. I putty all the screw holes and seams to get it ready for stain.
This really gives it a nice finished look and makes it a lot more durable as well.
The first coat of stain has been applied. It’s looking pretty darn good. When you start putting the final finishes on things, it really just makes you feel good.
I will give it a second coat after it gets good and dry. Now is a good time to look for all the little imperfections I need to putty and sand out, just to give it a good clean finished look.
Moving on to the top rail, and the next step will be the top deck. I’m on a downhill slide now. It’s really starting to look pretty sweet.
I really like the looks of the all rounded rail on boats and it really looks very appropriate on a bar. It gives you a definite vision of strength.
