Had a nice day, so, I decided to push it out and clean it up a little bit. Now, it’s time to take some pictures.

I talked about how this boat bar was totally designed by the owner. I really do like his design with the extenders on the second shelf just below the top, which makes a nice area for mixing drinks.

There sure is a lot of storage area. With this bar 15 feet long, you can definitely have a lot of friends and family around this one.

I just love how the curvature of the boat rail mirrors the inside. Not all Chris Craft boats have this round rail. I think it adds richness to the look.

Personally, I think it would be a great bar for beer slides or maybe a few shots…nice and long and straight. With this being vintage wood, you can definitely see the different shades of darkness of the planks’ grains. If I were making this an actual boat, I would be bleaching out all of the planks to make them look more even.

Since it’s from a vintage boat, the wood is super dry. Even with the old varnish and paint, it really sucks up the new varnish. This has 10 coats total of varnish. When I was putting the first two coats on, they totally disappeared. The wood was definitely dried out and weathered. I just love that water line from the original boat.

Yep, definitely a great design. It’s time to start adding the bow light and a few other little lights here and there.
